CONTEST RULES
MEDERMA MOMENTS CONTEST
(the “Contest”)
CONTEST PERIOD & CONTEST SPONSORS.
The Contest is brought to you by the following entities (collectively or individually, the “Contest Sponsors”): Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Rogers”) and Merz Pharma Canada Limited (“Mederma”).
The contest period (the “Contest Period”) starts at 5:30 am on Monday, May 12, 2014 and continues until 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 8, 2014 (the “Contest Closing Date”). All times are Eastern.
HOW TO ENTER.
No purchase necessary.
To enter, visit http://platform.citytv.com/mederma2014 during the Contest Period. Complete the entry ballot in full and follow instructions to tell us, in four hundred (400) characters or less, what your Mederma Moment is (the “Essay”). Each entry form fully completed and duly submitted, containing one (1) Essay as instructed, constitutes one (1) entry into the Contest.
By entering the Contest, each entrant confirms that he or she: owns all intellectual property rights in the entry, including without limitation copyright in the Essay; grants the Contest Sponsors a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to reproduce and to distribute the Essay in whole or in part and in any form or format; waives all claims of copyright and moral rights in respect of the entry, including without limitation in the Essay, as well as any rights that the entrant may have to compensation pertaining to any use, reproduction, modification, adaptation, alteration of, or creation of derivative works from the Essay by the Contest Sponsors for any purpose and in any media whatsoever; understands and agrees that the entry, including the Essay, will not be returned to the entrant upon submission to the Contest; and understands and agrees that the entry may be refused as entry to the Contest in the absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsors.
ENTRY LIMIT: Only one (1) entry per person.
Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter the Contest in a fashion not authorized by these rules shall be deemed to be tampering and will void all of your entries. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, false, illegible, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete, altered or otherwise irregular or that do not conform with or satisfy any or all of these Contest rules will be void. Only entries received by Rogers will be considered. Proof of entry transmission shall not constitute proof of receipt. The sole determinant of time for valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s). The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to refuse any entry in their absolute discretion.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
ELIGIBILITY.
The Contest is open to residents of Canada who are over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
Employees, officers and directors of any Contest Sponsor, its affiliates or representatives, any Contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom the foregoing individuals reside are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
PRIZE DESCRIPTION.
Entrants are eligible to win one (1) of four (4) Grand Prizes, each consisting of $1,000 CDN, issued by way of a pre-loaded credit card gift card, and one (1) Mederma Gift Bag valued at approximately $150 CDN.
Some restrictions may apply. Winners are solely responsible for coordinating use of gift card. Winners are responsible for all taxes, fees, and expenses not otherwise set forth above. The Contest Sponsors will not replace Grand Prize, in whole or in part, if lost or stolen.
No financial compensation will be made or required if actual prize value is lower than the total value quoted in these rules. Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged absent the consent of the Contest Sponsors, which consent may be withheld in their absolute discretion. Contest prizes may not be exactly as advertised. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever the reason, of any advertised prize in whole or in part.
Except as expressly warranted herein, any Contest prize is provided “as is” without further warranty of any kind. |
